See-More is SBT's hallmark puppet character. See-More's Workshop, the publishing arm of the theatre, is named after him. He appears in every main stage show, and represents each youngster in the audience. He was named at our very first show by a child who said 'Of course he's named See-More. He sees more then anybody.' Like a child in its parent's lap, See-More observes and participates. He is held securely in the Storyteller's arms, creating an intimate and safe space where he embodies the universal wonder of childhood. When the children leave the theatre after the show, they often talk to him and hug and kiss him goodbye.
