MAINSTAGE PRODUCTIONS

The Shadow Box Theatre presents several major productions utilizing shadow and three dimensional puppets as well as multi-ethnic casts of 7-9 actors, singers, and dancers. Our 2009-2010 season will include the following shadow puppet productions:

OTHER VENUES: African Drum is presented on weekday mornings in Manhattan; at the NYC College of Technology in Brooklyn, 285 Jay Street; at Hostos Center for the Arts and Culture in the Bronx, 450 Grand Concourse (at 149th St.); and in Queens, at York College Performing Arts Center, 94-20 Guy Brewer Blvd., Jamaica.

Weekday morning program: Mainstage shows performed for general public audiences as well as public, private, pre-school and elementary school group trips. (Note: suitable for Special Ed.) Our season at the The Theatres at 45 Bleecker Street runs from Fall to Spring. Performances are usually at 10:30 am with some 10 & 11:30 shows.
