Ananse and the Pot of Stories

ANANSE the Spider has heard that NYAME THE SKY GOD has a pot of stories which contain all the wisdom in the world, and would like to have it, so that he can be truly wise! Nyame will give it to him if he can accomplish 3 challenging tasks.... Based on the Ananse Stories of West Africa and the Caribbean, this puppets and people musical written by Emelia Asiedu with music by Greg Alexander, teaches decision making skills and critical thinking, and the concept of storytelling as a way of sharing experience as a form of wisdom.

Recommended for K-4th grade.
